2017 Solar Eclipse

It was an exciting day for North America! People across Canada and the United States were treated with a rare solar eclipse. All of our operating areas, from NE British Columbia, Alberta, and Saskatchewan in Canada, right down through North Dakota, Utah, and Texas in the USA, got to experience this historic event.

While only a select few got to see a "totality" eclipse, it was an exciting day nonetheless. Staff across the continent took a few minutes to safely observe the phenomenon, using homemade eclipse viewers or NASA-approved eclipse glasses.
